REGISTRATION:

Registration is required to happen by 15th September before the Weekend Getaway in order to enable the Events team to make room reservation for you, because rooms are only booked on payment. The sooner registration is done the better, so that you can quickly secure your room specifications. Rooms might still be available after 15th September, but may not be guaranteed. The payment includes full board and meals for all. The standard rate is £270 per couple. Details for extra or more exclusive facilities are included under accommodation.

SCHEDULE: 

The program starts on Friday and a full program is attached herewith. We begin with checking in on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and the program will conclude on Sunday at 9.00 a.m. after breakfast when people can travel. However those that stay in Swindon and surrounding areas can stay for a church service that begins at 9.30-12.30. Lunch will be served at 12.30 before departure. 

Please indicate which option you prefer for departure, whether leaving at 9.00 a.m. after breakfast, or attending service, and have lunch 12.30 then departure.

ACCOMMODATION: 

The accommodation available for the Getaway Weekend is a 48 hour rate (2night stay) for a Couple, including breakfast, lunch and dinner and use of all leisure facilities on site. However, more exclusive requirements might include the following:

  1. Where only 1 night is required the rates will be: £145.00 per couple (based on 2 people sharing) or £105.00 single occupancy.
  2. At present we have additional rooms available but after the 7th, this is subject to availability. 
  3. In regards to children attending and staying with parents we can fit either one cot or one pull out bed in the bedroom (in a standard room).  If there are 2 children then an upgraded room is required which carries an extra charge of £20.0 per room per night.
  4. Children will also be required to pay as follows:   
  5. Children 12-15 years- £75.00 INC VAT 48 hour package
  6. Children 11 and under - £60.00 INC VAT 48 hour package
  7. Babies (aged 2 and under) - Free of charge
  8. 16 and above classed as adult
  9. There is a charge of £15.00 per cot or bed, per night also in addition to the above.
  10. Day participants: If some should choose to be day participants only, they will be requested to pay 50% of the fee. If children are included, then extra charges will also apply for their meals. 

OTHER FACILITIES

  1. The conference facility is situated on 20 acres of land and positioned in the countryside so plenty of area to walk/run, though no jogging track is available. 
  2. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and leisure club is included for residential guests to use from check in to check out. 

DRESS CODE

The day sessions are relaxed and participants are requested to be in smart casual. 

However the two dinners on Friday night and Saturday night will be black tie events and so you are requested to dress up. The Saturday night will also have a photo shoot  on red carpet.
